From preventive maintenance to predictive maintenance

All resources must be ready for use at all times in order to produce efficiently. The mApp Maintenance & Service Management by MPDV supports various maintenance strategies for this purpose. These include preventive maintenance, condition-based maintenance, manual maintenance planning and predictive maintenance.

Real-time data from the machine data collection such as cycles or utilization times are evaluated to determine maintenance dates and related measures. The maintenance calendar informs you at any time when the next maintenance is due and for which resource. You can also generate a maintenance order from the planned activity in order to include it in your detailed planning. You can set an automatic notification for selected events (e.g. due date of maintenance).

The mApp uses and stores data of the Virtual Production Reality (ViPR) of MPDV's Manufacturing Integration Platform (MIP).

Maintenance & Service Management in the MIP ecosystem

The mApp monitors resources managed in the MIP and posted with real-time data from the shop floor. Maintenance orders can be factored into the planning process. MPDV also offers the following mApps:
