MPDV USA Inc is seeking an Account Manager with a focus on the North American continent, based in the Greater Chicago Area. The Account Manager is responsible for handling customer success activities and relationship management, building long-term, productive, and mutually beneficial relationships with existing and new customers.
The ideal candidate is passionate about software sales and will have a desire to gain a deep understanding of MPDV software and apply this knowledge to fulfill customer objectives. The role will be responsible for the activities described below:
Responsibilities- What you will do:
- Be an MPDV USA liaison between prospects and our valued customers
- Responsible for identifying and acquiring new prospective customers (incl. cold calling)
- Develop professional relationships with prospect and existing customers to understand their business needs and position product solutions to address those needs
- Maintain your sales funnel with a sufficient number of prospects, while consistently moving them through all stages of the sales pipeline
- Drive all aspects of the sales cycle including but not limited, proposals, scoping, pricing and contract negotiations, etc
- Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with customers and prospects and be responsive to their real-time needs
- Prepare and execute demonstrations of the MES solution in remote or onsite sessions
- Analyze the requirements of your customers to create a proposal using the correct product and service offerings
- Work in collaboration with internal departments to acquire information to complete a proper solution proposal
- Stay current with new MPDV software releases and the impacts to customers and prospects
- Accurate and timely maintenance of your associated accounts, contacts and opportunities in our CRM
- Support and assist in preparing webinars, prospect event days, customer days, trade shows
- Represent the company and our products at trade shows, and similar events
- Keep an eye on the market conditions and competitive situation
Qualifications - What you will bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g. Sales and Marketing, Engineering, IT, Production Management)
- Strong technical background with an excellent knowledge of software solutions.
- 5+ years professional experience with 3+ years experience in enterprise manufacturing software sales. MES software is a plus
- High ability to motivate yourself in long term sales processes
- Fluent in quickly assessing personalities and handling multi-stakeholder situations
- Experience with negotiations, contracts in sales, purchasing of investment goods, enterprise software
- Excellent customer service acumen, presentation and writing skills
- Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently with minimal guidance
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks during various stages in the sales cycle
- Professionalism in personality, appearance, and work results
- Positive, creative and enthusiastic, you think quickly on your feet and adapt easily to change
- Willing to travel
- Nice to have: fluent Spanish, French or Portuguese language skills

MPDV USA Inc is seeking a Manager Smart Factory Services with a focus on the North American continent, based in the Greater Chicago Area. The Manager Smart Factory Services is responsible for our Consulting and Support teams. As our multi-focus expert, you will be responsible for the business performance by acting as liaisons between customers and our teams.
The role will be responsible for the activities described below:
Responsibilities - What you will do:
- Manage the Consultant and Support teams as a mentor and a leader.
- Collaborate with prospects, customers and the internal consulting service team.
- Establish and maintain environment and culture that promotes internal and external Service Excellence
- Track and monitor KPIs for both teams and present metrics and plans to leadership on a regular basis
- Ensure the daily management and scheduling of resources in an optimal and efficient way
- Serve as an escalation point and be accountable for coordinating internal collaboration to resolve critical issues acting as an advocate for the customer
- Identify and remove bottlenecks that impede the progress of the consulting and support teams
- Maintain and enhance the existing processes and workflows
- Provide constructive feedback and conduct performance reviews
- Become an expert in MPDV software solutions
- Provide presales support for meetings, demos, RFP responses to the Sales during the sales process as requested

MPDV USA Inc is seeking an MES Solution Architect with a focus on the North American continent. The MES Solution Architect is responsible for performing high-level technical activities on a project basis. In close coordination with our valued customers the MES Solution Architect will deploy our products to increase profitability and decrease costs.
Responsibilities - What you will do:
- Be a key subject matter expert and lead consultant in delivering overall Manufacturing Execution Software (MES) solutions, both pre-sale and post-sale.
- Work with our sales team to win orders as a technical expert.
- Conduct detailed workshops with customer subject matter experts to analyze and document manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with appropriate customer contacts to define existing data flows, analyze organizational structures, and identify client needs while closing data ‘black holes’ within their production processes.
- Assess the customer’s current architecture and processes to define/document functional and technical solutions required to implement an MES in the customer’s environment.
- Deliver and conduct training sessions to customers (remote or at client locations) and provide ongoing instruction and guidance related to installed IT solutions (network, database, etc.).
- As a lead consultant, provide direction for implementing the solution to the solution engineers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during implementation of MPDV software.
- Specify/approve/assist development of customer-specific software modules (customizations).
- Use the data collected by the MES solutions, working with customers to identify opportunities, and implementing changes that improve manufacturing processes and/or reduce costs, using your knowledge in engineering, production equipment, processes, quality and design standards.
- Confer with customer engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.
- Strategize with and advise customers regarding our software products that could improve and enhance production operations.
- Work on multiple projects at a time – either as the subject matter expert for a certain part of the system or the lead consultant for the overall solution
- Be a technical leader by learning our latest product information as well as providing manufacturing-specific technical expertise and related support, for the benefit of our customers, sales team, and other technical team members. •
Spend Monday and Tuesday in our office to collaborate with your peers.
Qualifications – What you will bring:- Strong experience regarding manufacturing processes and production logistics.
- Proven work experience of 5+ years with MES software solutions or related plant-wide solutions.
- Broad, practical IT knowledge base (networking, database, remote access)
- Experience introducing software systems into manufacturing environments.
- Highly effective verbal, written and presentation communication skills in English language required.
- Capable of advising and interacting effectively with upper-level management, manufacturing engineers and operators at client companies.
- Strong organizational/time management skills. Previous project management experience is a plus.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% on average.
- Exceptional levels of reliability, flexibility, self-motivation, collaboration, and initiative.
- Professional personality, appearance, and work results.
- US Citizen or Green card holder.
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/German is a plus.
Scripting/coding experience (C#/JSON/REST) is a plus.
